The correct screw driver to use is a Pozi-drive screwdriver, although Phillips screw driver will work (size 0, size 1). Xavant Technology recommends using a pozi-drive screwdriver size 1

Xavant Technology uses a Tektronix TDS2012B oscilloscope to repair and fault finding the Stimpod. Xavant Technology requires the following as a minimal entry level scope that can be used:  Digital scope  A bandwidth of 100 MHz  Support for cursors.  Function for measuring raise time  Function for measuring fall time  Function for measuring pulse width  Function for measuring maximum voltage  Function for measuring frequency  CAT II 300Vrms (category for maximum voltage), as the signals used to measure have a pulse duration of less than 100ms NOTE: The oscilloscope must be calibrated

Xavant Technology uses the multi-function solder and hot air station from Aoyue.  ESD discharge safe  Tip to ground resistance <2Ω  Solder station temperature 200⁰C – 480⁰C  Low tip to ground potential <2mV  Hot air temperature 100⁰C – 480⁰C

The Multi-meter that will be needed to take measurements of the Stimpod must have the following capabilities:
 DC Voltage, 200mV~1000V (0.1%+8)
 DC Current 200μA ~10A (1%+20)
 Resistance 200/2k/20k/200k/2M/20M Ohm(1.5%+20)
 Capacitance 20nF/200nF/2microF/20microF/200microF/2mF/20mF (0.1%+20)
